Refund Policy
At Scandicture, we want you to shop with confidence. If you return an eligible item within our 90-day return window, we'll process your refund promptly according to the terms outlined below.
When You'll Receive a Refund
You are eligible for a refund when:
- Your returned item passes our inspection
- The return meets all eligibility criteria outlined in our Return Policy
- The return was properly authorized before shipping
- The item was returned within 90 days of delivery
Refund Amount
What Is Refunded
For Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items:
- Full product purchase price
- Original shipping costs
- Return shipping costs (if you paid for return shipping, we'll reimburse you)
For Change of Mind Returns:
- Product purchase price only
- Original shipping costs are NOT refunded
- Return shipping costs are NOT refunded
What Is NOT Refunded
The following are non-refundable:
- Return shipping costs (for change of mind returns)
- Original shipping fees (for change of mind returns)
- Gift wrapping or special packaging fees
- Any discounts or promotions that were applied (you'll be refunded the amount you actually paid)
Refund Processing Timeline
Step 1: Return Receipt (Day 0)
Once we receive your returned item at our facility, we'll send you an email confirmation.
Step 2: Inspection (1-3 Business Days)
Our team will inspect your return to verify:
- Item is in original, unused condition
- All tags, packaging, and accessories are included
- Return meets our eligibility criteria
Step 3: Refund Approval (Day 3-4)
After inspection, we'll email you to notify you whether your refund has been:
- Approved - Refund will be processed
- Rejected - We'll explain why and discuss options
Step 4: Refund Processing (3-10 Business Days)
Once approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method:
Credit/Debit Cards: 3-10 business days
PayPal: 1-3 business days
Apple Pay/Google Pay: 3-10 business days
Total Refund Timeline
Allow up to 15 business days from when we receive your return for the refund to appear in your account. This includes our processing time plus your bank or payment provider's processing time.
Payment Method for Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method:
- If you paid by credit card, we'll refund to that card
- If you paid via PayPal, we'll refund to your PayPal account
- If you paid via Apple Pay/Google Pay, we'll refund through that service
We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account than the one used for the original purchase.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued in the following situations:
- Partial returns - You returned only some items from a multi-item order
- Damaged items - Item shows signs of use or is returned without original packaging (at our discretion)
- Late returns - Items returned significantly after the 90-day window may receive partial refund (at our discretion)
- Restocking fee - In rare cases where items are returned in unsellable condition due to customer error
Rejected Refunds
Your refund may be rejected if:
- Item shows signs of use, wear, or damage
- Original packaging, tags, or accessories are missing
- Item was not returned within 90 days of delivery
- Return was not authorized before shipping
- Item is on our non-returnable list
- Item does not match the item originally sent
If your refund is rejected, we'll contact you to:
- Explain the reason for rejection
- Offer to return the item to you (shipping charges may apply)
- Discuss alternative solutions
Delayed Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within 15 business days of us receiving your return:
- Check your bank account again - Sometimes it takes time for banks to post refunds
- Contact your bank or credit card company - Processing times vary by institution
- Check with PayPal - If you paid via PayPal, check your account there
- Contact us - If you've done all of the above and still haven't received your refund, email us at info@scandicture.com with your order number
Defective or Damaged Items
If you received a defective or damaged item, you're entitled to a full refund including:
- Complete product price
- Original shipping costs
- Return shipping costs
Process:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photos of the damage or defect
- We'll send you a prepaid return label (or reimburse return shipping)
- Once we receive and verify the issue, we'll process your full refund
Alternatively, we can send you a replacement product at no additional cost.
Exchanges
We don't offer refund-to-exchange services. If you want a different item:
- Return your original item for a refund
- Place a new order for the item you want
This ensures faster processing and allows you to use any current promotions.
Missing Refunds
If you believe you're missing a refund:
First check:
- Your bank account or credit card statement
- Your PayPal account (if applicable)
- Your spam/junk email folder for our refund confirmation
Then contact:
- Your bank or credit card company - Processing can take time
- Your payment provider - Some providers have additional processing delays
Still missing your refund after 15 business days?
Contact us at info@scandicture.com with:
- Your order number
- Date you returned the item
- Tracking number for your return
- Payment method used
Promotional Discounts and Refunds
If you used a discount code or promotional offer:
- You'll be refunded the amount you actually paid (after discount)
- The discount code cannot be reused
- If you return only part of an order, the discount will be proportionally adjusted
Gift Card Refunds
- Gift cards are non-refundable
- If you purchased an item with a gift card and return it, we'll refund the amount back to the original gift card (if still active) or issue store credit
Restocking Fees
We generally do not charge restocking fees. However, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee (up to 20% of the item value) if:
- Item is returned in unsellable condition due to customer error
- Item is missing original packaging or components
- Custom or special-order items are returned
You'll be notified before any restocking fee is applied.
